The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) deems the ISSA Cleaning Industry Management Standard's Green Building (CIMS-GB) criteria a useful LEED resource, helping to position it among the leading green-cleaning management frameworks and certifications for cleaning organizations. "The USGBC supports CIMS-GB as a valuable resource to assist in securing LEED-Existing Buildings: Operations & Maintenance credits for green cleaning activities," states the USGBC. The delivery of eco-friendly cleaning service to help green overall operations is the primary focus of CIMS-GB.
