RIA has developed a new Contents Restoration Course, which is a departure from the usual hands-on training. Martin King has devised a systems approach that will enable restorers to make decisions that normally require years of experience.

Major material and finish groups will be addressed, but the emphasis will be on understanding the principles of multi-step systems and their application to different materials and degrees of damage. For this reason the course will be useful not only to field personnel directly involved in restoration, but also to the people who train and supervise them.
