RIA in Canada
The Restoration Industry Association (RIA) has a long history in the Canadian provinces. Our Canadian members place a high value on RIA networking events, education, and certification programs. Many Canadian restorers and vendors have formed life-long friendships and found the education they need to advance their careers and build their businesses.
RIA Canadian Membership
RIA offers unique member benefits and pricing for our Canadian members: varying from $250 CAD to $1600 CAD per year, depending on the type of your company. Canadian vendor members of RIA are able to access an audience of industry that encompasses all of the United States and Canada decision-makers through live events, as well as our digital and print publications . View the RIA Member Benefits Guide to determine what membership level best fits your company.
In May 2015, RIA began a partnership with the Restoration Contractors Organization of Canada (RCOC). By partnering with RCOC, RIA's Canadian membership now includes all of the major franchisors in the Canadian restoration industry. RIA's Canadian members benefit from this increased network, as well as from RCOC's lobbying and legislative monitoring efforts within the Canadian provinces. If you are a franchisee member in Canada, contact Natalie DeHart to join RIA at a discounted rate of $250 CAD per year.

Get Involved - RIA Canadian Leadership
RIA Canadian Council
The Canadian Council of the Restoration Industry Association (RIA) was established to provide the Canadian restoration industry with a vehicle by which issues facing its membership could be brought to the attention of the RIA and industry leaders. The Canadian Council serves to support RIA’s Canadian membership and promote RIA’s interests in Canada.
The Canadian Council wholly supports RIA’s mission statement which reads: “RIA and its membership strive to deliver professional services following established industry standards, ethical principles, and sound business practice. RIA and its members are committed to education, training, and the promotion of best practices within the cleaning and restoration industry.”
The Young Professional Restorers’ Committee (YPRC) of the RIA Canadian Council seeks to inspire, connect, and educate the next generation of Canadian restoration industry professionals. The YPRC consists of restoration professionals aged 35 and under who are passionate about the future of the Canadian restoration industry. The YPRC provides insight to the needs and preferences of the next generation of restoration professionals. The YPRC helps guide RIA education in both digital and live formats, including the annual convention, PLR Expo, webinars, and certification programs. YPRC members act as advocates for RIA, promoting the benefits of RIA membership to their peers. Finally, YPRC members work with other RIA members, particularly those on the Canadian Council, to establish a diverse network of restoration professionals and vendors, especially those within the technology sector.
The YPRC Chairman also sits on the Canadian Council to represent the YPRC in broader RIA initiatives in Canada.

The YPRC maintains an active LinkedIn page, which includes twice-monthly blog posts and industry articles for discussion with the YPRC community. Canadian Education Committee
RIA's Canadian Education Committee is dedicated to providing high-quality training opportunities, upholding RIA's commitment to education, training, and promotion of best practices within the cleaning and restoration industry. The Canadian Education Committee develops and promotes RIA training programs and industry events specifically designed for our Canadian membership.
The Canadian Education Committee Chairman also sits on the Canadian Council to act as a liaison between the larger RIA Canadian membership and the Committee.
