This two-day course is a prerequisite for those pursuing their advanced certifications, either for the Certified Restorer (CR) or Water Loss Specialist (WLS), it is also open to those who want to obtain continuing education credit and advance their professional knowledge. Upon successful completion of the course each student is expected to know the following: The three constraints associated with managing a project; the four phases of the project life cycle and activities associated with each; the tools and documentation used to manage a project; the tools and documentation used to identify and manage risk, and how project management can improve a company’s restoration business.

Cancellation Policy

  1. Cancellations received less than 30 days prior to the event start date will not be granted a refund.
  2. Cancellations must be made in writing and emailed to the RIA office at info@restorationindustry.org. Phone calls are not accepted.
  3. Cancellations received 30 days prior to the event start date will be granted a full refund minus a $100 administrative fee.
  4. Substitutions from the same company are accepted at least two weeks in advance of the event start date at no additional charge.
