Keynote and Introduction (All Attendees)

Mark Whatley & Haley Smith

Haley Smith, State Auto Director, and Mark Whatley, Emergency Packout Co. VP, will expose attendees to Matterport powered 3D scans that are poised to manage fraud, quickly reconcile scope, and reduce overall cycle times. Explore what the future of claims settlement looks like from both the Carrier and Contractor perspectives. The pair will detail proven best practices when operating 3D cameras in a claims environment and prepare the audience for the paradigm shift associated with remote claims estimating and subsequent Matterport powered desk adjusting.

A Look into Price Lists and Feedback

Ben Justesen

This session will look into the different components of what makes up a price list. It will also give a look into what is lacking for contents professionals, what they should pay attention to and different ways of giving pricing feedback.

10:30 am - 11:45 am

Environmental Challenges in Contents

John DiMenno

Mark Whatley and John DiMenno speak on the impact of dangerous contaminants found in projects that not only affect structure but contents as well. Subjects will include: decontamination on contents and avoiding cross-contamination; lead and/or dioxins; meth labs decontamination for contents; impact to contents from contaminated water; coverage issues in contents and environmental impacts, exclusions, etc.

Bailey Coverage Pitfalls

Mark Swieczkowski

The majority of contents companies that have bailey's coverage do not understand that 95% of all policies in the marketplace have Actual Cost Value (ACV) rather than Replacement Cost Value (RCV). On a million dollar loss in your warehouse that might be a 250,000 obligation the restorer has to make good on to make up depreciation.

It's Time for Pack-Out Inventory Software

Russ Jacobs

Recognizing industry trends allows us to keep ahead, or keep pace, with our competition. One of the biggest industry trends over the last several years is recognizing the need and advantages of pack-out inventory software.
