Strictly TPAs Fall Summit

November 10 -11, 2017 in Nashville, Tennessee

Part of the RIA “Strictly” Series

Thank you for joining us!

TPA’s (Third Party Administrators) are one of the most discussed and impactful topics for RIA members. If you eavesdrop on a networking conversation, you will likely hear our members talking about this issue and the impact on their businesses. This dynamic two-day event will conclude RIA’s Education Week in exciting Nashville, Tennessee.

This event will be organized by contractors, for contractors. No topic is off limits.

Below are some of the topics that we will cover:

  • Current state of the TPA market
  • A panel of highly successful TPA contractors
  • Panel of successful contractors that do a small percentage of TPA work
  • Interviews with TPA representatives to answer member questions
  • Strategies for diversifying your business
  • Tactics for negotiating and protecting your business in this environment

What this event is:

  • All the content at this event will be geared towards the needs of our contractor members and the challenges that they face in the expanding TPA environment.
  • Strategies for business diversification will be explored and presented.
  • No long lectures, each hour session will consist of speakers presenting one or two big ideas in 15-20 minutes, this will be followed with Q&A and shepherded idea exchange and networking.
  • Speakers will primarily be restoration practitioners who face the day-in, day-out demands and challenges of this current environment.
  • TPA representatives will not be presenting, we know that if you want their perspective, you can attend one of their respective conferences.
  • RIA will be surveying our members to get perspective on the specific issues that are impacting your business in the TPA environment.  These challenges will be presented to the TPA companies where they will be addressed and then published in a future C&R magazine.
  • Ideally a starting point and catalyst for future solutions, changes and improvement of the customer experience and the ability of our members to operate their businesses. The outcomes of this event will likely guide our actions and member support in the future.

What this event is not:

  • A chance to bash TPA’s.
  • A venue for complaining that is not focused on solutions.
  • A trade show or exposition for vendors.
  • A sign-up for new TPA programs. Again, TPA’s will not be presenting or sponsoring this event. This event is brought to you exclusively by RIA.
