Air Travel
There are two airports serving the Dallas/Fort Worth Area; both are approximately a 40-minute drive to Benbrook, TX.
- DFW International (DFW) is one of the biggest hubs in the country, so almost everyone can fly nonstop: American (its home hub), Delta, United, Southwest, Alaska, JetBlue, and more. About 35–45 minutes to Benbrook depending on traffic.
- Dallas Love Field (DAL): Southwest's home base, plus some Delta and Alaska flights. Similar drive time and often cheaper fares.
Airport Transportation
Consider renting a car. Benbrook is a suburban area with no meaningful public transit. Every major rental car brand operates at both airports. Uber and Lyft work fine throughout the Fort Worth area if you'd rather not drive, though rides to/from the airports run $50–70 each way.
Hotel Accommodations
RIA has not contracted a hotel block or negotiated a rate for this event. The hotel suggestion is provided solely as a convenience to attendees. Attendees are encouraged to research and compare lodging options that best meet their needs. Attendees are responsible for making their own reservations and confirming rates, availability, policies, and accommodations directly with the hotel. No transportation is being provided.
- Marriott Courtyard Fort Worth West at Cityview, 6400 Overton Ridge Blvd, Fort Worth, TX 76132
Regional Tourism Attractions
Benbrook Lake, the town's centerpiece: a big Army Corps lake with shoreline trails, parks, and fishing. Dutch Branch Park on the north shore is the easy access point.
- Benbrook Stables, the real-deal horseback riding on trails along the lake.
- Fort Worth Stockyards 15–20 minutes away and worth it: the twice-daily longhorn cattle drive, rodeos at Cowtown Coliseum, honky-tonks, and Billy Bob's, the world's largest.
- The Cultural District, Fort Worth's museum row, is legitimately world-class: the Kimbell, the Modern, and the Amon Carter, all free or cheap and 15 minutes from Benbrook.
- Sundance Square & the Water Gardens downtown Fort Worth's walkable core: restaurants, live music, and the famous terraced Water Gardens.
- Fort Worth Zoo, regularly ranked among the best zoos in the country, on the Benbrook side of town.
