Prerequisite Domains Checklist
These prerequisites apply to RIA’s four pillar designations — Contents Loss Specialist (CLS), Environmental
Risk Specialist (ERS), Fire Loss Specialist (FLS), and Water Loss Specialist (WLS). Once the Prerequisites
below are met, or an alternate prerequisite is approved, learners are then eligible to sign up for the specific
designation course. Designations are not awarded until the class exam and class report are approved.
