RIA Adds Lowe’s CAT Parking Agreement Program for RIA Members

The Restoration Industry Association (RIA) is pleased to announce additional benefits with Lowe’s Home Improvement in addition to our GPO which saves your company money and helps support RIA!  This addition is designed to support restoration professionals responding to catastrophic (CAT) events. Through the CAT Parking License Agreement Program, RIA Enterprise Members now have the unique opportunity to secure temporary parking access at designated Lowe’s retail locations during major disasters, at no cost.

This exclusive benefit provides restoration companies with a strategic, centralized staging location near impacted communities, enabling faster deployment, enhanced visibility, and streamlined coordination during high-stakes emergency responses.

Program Highlights:

  • Priority Access During CAT Events: Pre-approved parking at designated Lowe’s locations during hurricanes, tornadoes, and other disasters.
     
  • Strategic Staging for Recovery Operations: Ideal for mobile catastrophe response units, emergency supply vehicles, and other critical recovery services.
     
  • No Cost for Qualified Members: Access is available to RIA members in good standing, coordinated through RIA and Lowe’s National Program Team.
     
  • Pre-Event Approval Required: Members must complete a CAT Parking Request Form and receive location-specific approval prior to use.
     

How It Works:

  3. Receive approval and designated location details from the Lowe’s Team
     

This program is available only at pre-approved Lowe’s locations (a full list of stores that offer it is up on the website) and does not include access to store interiors. All operations must avoid disrupting regular business activities.
