RIA Announces Leadership Transition and Welcomes New CEO Saima Hedrick

Mt. Laurel, NJ — January 28, 2026 

The RIA today announced a planned leadership transition, marking an exciting new chapter for the
Association as it continues to build on strong momentum and advance its mission on behalf of its
members and the restoration industry.

After thoughtful planning, Kristy Cohen has decided to move on to a new professional opportunity. Under
her leadership, the RIA has strengthened its foundation, expanded its impact, and positioned itself well for
the future.

“On behalf of the Board of Directors, we are grateful for Kristy’s leadership and the momentum she
helped build for the Association and its members,” said Jeff Moore, Board President of the RIA. “The RIA
enters this next chapter from a position of strength.”

The Board is pleased to announce that Saima Hedrick has been selected as the RIA’s new Chief
Executive Officer. Saima joined the Association on January 12 and has been participating in a structured
onboarding and transition process designed to ensure continuity and a smooth handoff.

“The Board is fully aligned and excited about this next chapter for the RIA,” Moore added. “Saima brings
strong leadership, a collaborative approach, and a deep commitment to our mission. We are confident
she will build on the progress already underway and help take the Association to the next level.”

As CEO, Saima Hedrick will focus on listening, learning, and engaging with members and stakeholders,
while continuing to advance RIA’s priorities and long-term vision.

forward to working alongside the Board, staff, and members to build on the Association’s momentum and
