Lorne McIntyre Bio

Lorne is a veteran of the cleaning and restoration industry with more than 30 years’ experience with thousands of completed projects. Lorne currently co-owns and operates a high-volume full-service property restoration firm in Toronto. Lorne serves voluntarily on several IICRC and RIA committees and a past member of the RIA Board of Directors.

He participated in writing the industry's first standard for Trauma and Crime Scene Clean-up as an ANSI/IICRC S540 consensus body and TAC committee member. He has earned all three IICRC and ICRA Master Certifications; RIA advanced designations, Certified Restorer (CR),  Water Loss Specialist (WLS), Content Loss Specialist (CLS) and Fire Loss Specialist (FLS), and ACAC Council-Certified Structural Drying Supervisor designation. Lorne is also one of the Water Loss Specialist instructors and is currently an approved ICRA and IICRC instructor for WRT, FSRT, ASD, OCT and CCT.
